Cyn Dulay was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. She started singing and dancing at the age of 3. Throughout her youth, adolescence and teenage years, she was always involved in the Arts. Her passion for music, writing and entertaining remained in tact even after moving to Chicago at the age of 13.
In 2005, Dulay joined the acting industry to test the market. She signed up as a model and an on-camera talent. After realizing that Acting is truly a serious business, she decided to attend TVI Actors Studio in Chicago as well as taking private acting classes. "It's not enough that you can act, you must know the ins and outs of the business, how to market yourself, and how to land that audition".
"I must be crazy for deciding to become an actress when everyone my age in Hollywood is retiring from acting!". "I seem to do everything backwards, but I have no regrets, it's actually better to be more mature, you make better and more daring choices". Motherhood and family has always been top priority for her. Dulay made a promise to herself and her daughter that she will always be with her, by her side until she goes to college and can drive herself around.
That year is coming up. 2014 is the year she knew she can start taking this acting business into a whole new level. She waited this long, what's another year. In the meantime, she will be looking for a manager and an agent in LA, NY and Chicago.
